Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej’s period action drama Sambarala Ethi Gattu has already generated strong buzz among audiences. Directed by Rohit KP, the film is being mounted on a grand scale by K Niranjan Reddy under the Primeshow Entertainment banner, with a reported budget exceeding Rs. 120 crores.

The makers are eyeing a pan-India release for Sambarala Ethi Gattu on January 12, 2027, across Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The date carries special significance, as Sai Dharam Tej is looking to recreate the Sankranti sentiment associated with Hanu-Man, which also released during the festival season and went on to become a major success.

Producer Niranjan Reddy is eyeing January 12, 2027 for SYG. January 12 also marks the release date of HanuMan in 2024 Sankranthi, a special date for Niranjan Reddy’s production house. With this ambitious project, the actor appears set to enter the Sankranti race in a big way.

Aishwarya Lekshmi is playing the female lead, while Jagapathi Babu, Sai Kumar, Srikanth, and Ananya Nagalla are essaying key roles. The film was initially expected to arrive in December 2026, but the makers now seem to be considering the Sankranti window, hoping to capitalize on the festive advantage.
