Ram Charan’s latest rural sports drama Peddi is reportedly heading for a significant rework following audience feedback. According to industry buzz, the makers are planning to trim several portions from the existing theatrical version and introduce fresh scenes featuring Ram Charan and Jagapathi Babu.

Reports also suggest that a major portion of Gournaidu’s flashback track, played by Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, could be removed from the second half to make the narrative more engaging and emotionally focused. These developments have generated considerable discussion among moviegoers and fans on social media.

Industry sources indicate that the revised version may undergo a fresh censor certification before being dispatched to theatres. Despite receiving mixed reactions for certain portions, Peddi has drawn praise for Ram Charan’s performance, A.R. Rahman’s background score, and the film’s technical brilliance.

If the reported changes are implemented, audiences could soon witness a new version of Peddi on the big screen. Few netizens and audience complaining that Janhvi Kapoor problematic scenes were not removed as promised by team. Buchi Babu Sana recently apologised and promised to remove those scenes from the film and it will play from next day.

The sports-action drama is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, with presentation support from Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. The film’s music is composed by A.R. Rahman, cinematography is handled by R. Rathnavelu, and editing is by National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli.
