Beginning the summer mania at the box office, Telugu filmmakers had announced several big releases for March, along with major films from other languages. Notably, films like Peddi, starring Mega Power Star Ram Charan, and Nani’s The Paradise were initially aimed for a March release.
While Peddi’s shoot is progressing as planned, the post-production work requires more time, and the makers also need sufficient time for promotions to reach every nook and corner of the country. Meanwhile, The Paradise is progressing at a slow pace, with the makers needing nearly 90 days to complete the shoot, followed by additional time for post-production.
As a result, Peddi is now eyeing a late summer release, while The Paradise is expected to arrive in May. Mythri Movie Makers are bringing Ustaad Bhagat Singh to March to fill the slot vacated by Peddi. The film has an outside chance of making it to a March 27 release. Since Pawan Kalyan has almost wrapped up his portion and most of the post-production work is also completed, the makers may consider releasing it on that date.
It looks like Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar might kick off the summer season with a blockbuster. The much-awaited films Yash’s Toxic and Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 are also slated for release in March.
