Following the underwhelming performance of Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, director Boyapati Sreenu is reportedly taking his time before announcing his next project. Instead of rushing into another film, the mass-action filmmaker is said to be focusing on developing a fresh script with a pan-India appeal. Although Boyapati has advance commitments with several leading production houses, industry buzz suggests that his preference is to collaborate with Geetha Arts for his next venture.
According to the latest reports, Boyapati and his writing team have been working on a story intended for Tamil star Suriya. The script is said to feature multiple layers and high-voltage action while also catering to audiences across different languages, particularly the North Indian market. However, there has been no official confirmation from either Boyapati or Suriya regarding the project, making it a subject of speculation for now.
Interestingly, reports also claim that Boyapati has another script ready for a different leading star, indicating that he is planning his comeback with a big-ticket entertainer. Known for his larger-than-life action dramas, the director is reportedly aiming to return with a trilingual pan-India film that can resonate with audiences nationwide. Fans will now be waiting to see which project gets the green signal first and whether Boyapati’s next outing marks a strong comeback.
