Director Venky Atluri clarified that Vishwanath And Sons was not shot as a direct Telugu film. He explained that unlike Vaathi, which was filmed simultaneously in both Tamil and Telugu, this film was shot only in Tamil and later dubbed into Telugu.
“We shot Vaathi simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. However, Vishwanath And Sons was shot only in Tamil and later dubbed into Telugu because that approach made more sense for the film,” Venky Atluri said.
Explaining his decision, the director added, “I did the film in which my actors were more comfortable with.” He chose the language and process that suited the performances and the film’s requirements better.
The film starring Suriya, Mamitha Baiju, Radhika Sarathkumar and ithers in key roles is all set for grand release on August 14th.
