There is a strong rumour that a star hero is doing a full length Transgender role. Despite social media speculation, reports claiming that RaviTeja’s upcoming film with director Hasith Goli features a transgender role are said to be completely false. Sources close to the project indicate that Ravi Teja will instead be seen in a vibrant, energetic, and highly entertaining character, reminiscent of the vintage comedy and fun-filled performances that made films like Kick and Mirapakay fan favorites.
The project, backed by producer Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, is expected to go on floors from August. The untitled film marks the first collaboration between RaviTeja and Hasith Goli, a filmmaker known for blending humor with unconventional storytelling. Hasith previously directed the acclaimed comedy-drama Raja Raja Chora and the ambitious satirical entertainer Swag, both of which showcased his knack for fresh narratives and quirky characters.
Meanwhile, RaviTeja continues to stay busy with a strong lineup of projects. He is currently working on Irumudi, directed by Shiva Nirvana, which has already completed a significant portion of its shoot and presents him in a powerful new avatar. The film is releasing in August. The actor is also in discussions with Maruthi.
