According to the makers, Varun Tej’s Korean Kanakaraju is maintaining a strong run at the box office. The horror comedy has reportedly grossed around ₹20 crore worldwide so far, with the film continuing its upward momentum on Sunday.
The third day is said to have recorded better collections than the opening two days, giving the film a positive boost after its first weekend. Reportedly the film completed breakeven mark in just 3 days. The premiers talk and entertainment saved the film.
The film features Varun Tej alongside young actress Rithika Nayak, with Satya, Srinivas Avasarala, Muralidhar Goud, Chinna and others in key roles. Thaman has composed the music, while the movie is produced by UV Creations in association with First Frame Entertainments.
Korean Kanakaraju is expected to sustain its momentum in the coming days, with particular demand in B and C centres. With the first weekend now complete, the focus is on the film’s overall weekend figures and whether its strong theatrical run will continue into the second week.
