His next much-awaited film Suriya 47 shoot progressing at a brisk pace, and the latest buzz from Kollywood suggests that the shoot has entered its final leg.
Reports indicate that the remaining portions are being wrapped up in the ongoing schedule, with the entire production expected to be completed by the end of this month. The action-comedy entertainer, directed by Jithu Madhavan, has been generating strong curiosity ever since its launch.
Actor Naslen, who’s playing a key role in the film, recently hinted that filming would conclude by June. With production nearing its finish line, the makers are said to be targeting a grand theatrical release towards the end of 2026.
Although an official release date is yet to be announced, industry circles believe the team is eyeing the year-end holiday season to capitalize on the festive box-office window. The film features Nazriya Nazim as the female lead, marking her first on-screen pairing with Suriya.
Backed by Zhagaram Studios, Suriya 47 has emerged as one of the most anticipated Tamil releases on the horizon, and fans are eagerly awaiting a title announcement and first-look promotional material in the coming months.
