Mega Prince Varun Tej is gearing up for an exciting new phase in his career after scoring a solid success with Korean Kanaka Raju. His next project, which brings him together with acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj, is already generating curiosity.
Varun Tej has revealed that the film will explore a fresh and mature love story, designed to suit his present age and image while offering a completely different perspective on the genre. Varun Tej will soon work with a debutant named Balaji and the film is said to be an entertainer.
Balaji is the protege of top director Atlee and Varun Tej loved the script. He gave his nod and the pre-production work of the film is currently going on.Talented Tamil director Karthik Subbaraj will present the film and he is involved in the pre-production work.
Impressed with the idea and the plot, Karthik Subbaraj joined the project as a co-producer. Stone Bench Creations will bankroll the project. His collaboration with Varun Tej is therefore expected to bring out a new dimension of the actor, with the filmmaker approaching the love story in a style that is reportedly different from his usual signature. The project could also give Varun Tej a strong opportunity to build a wider audience base in Tamil Nadu.
