The much-awaited reunion of Mega Power Star Ram Charan and director Sukumar is finally taking shape, with RC17 expected to be officially launched with a grand opening pooja ceremony during Dussehra 2026.
After delivering the blockbuster Rangasthalam, the duo is joining hands once again for an ambitious pan-India entertainer, with the first shooting schedule expected to commence in December 2026. Pre-production is currently progressing at full pace as the team gears up for the film’s next stage.
Ram Charan has reportedly begun a special diet and fitness regime to prepare for his character, indicating a physically demanding role in the film. Sukumar is said to be crafting a completely fresh and unique story, with both the actor and director aiming to deliver something bigger than their previous collaboration.
The project has already generated massive expectations among fans and the industry alike. The film will feature music by Devi Sri Prasad and Shaswat Sachdev of Dhurandhar fame is also in consideration for the music. Sara Arjun and Rukmini Vasanth are currently under consideration for the female lead roles.
