Irumudi, starring Ravi Teja in the lead, is emerging as one of the biggest successes of 2026. Directed and written by Shiva Nirvana, the film revolves around an alcohol-addicted father and his young daughter, blending family emotions, redemption, faith and action. Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sai Kumar, Swasika Vijay, Ajay Ghosh, Rajkumar Kasireddy, Ramesh Indira, Kishore Kumar Polimera, Meesala Lakshman, Ramana Bhargav, Karthik Adusumilli and Baby Nakshathra are among the principal cast.
The film’s success has also turned Ravi Teja’s remuneration story into a remarkable jackpot. At the time of Irumudi, his reported remuneration was around ₹7–8 crore, with the Nizam theatrical rights reportedly given to him instead of a conventional cash payment. Initial expectations suggested those rights could generate around ₹20 crore in share, but the film’s blockbuster momentum has pushed projections dramatically higher, with the Nizam share now tracking toward an extraordinary ₹50 crore.
That would make the deal a phenomenal windfall for Ravi Teja and one of the rarest remuneration jackpots in recent Telugu cinema. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers, with Shiv Chanana as co-producer, Irumudi features music by G. V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Vishnu Sarma, editing by Prawin Pudi and production design by Sahi Suresh.
