Megastar Chiranjeevi is once again set to make Sankranthi his festive battleground. After the successful Sankranthi outings of Khaidi No. 150 and Waltair Veerayya, the actor is now gearing up to return for Sankranthi 2027 with his upcoming film, tentatively titled Mega158, directed by Bobby Kolli.
The film title is Kadiri Kakaji and the shoot is progressing as planned, with around 40 days of shooting already completed, the first half nearing an edit lock and the current schedule underway in Hyderabad. Chiranjeevi’s entry adds another major star to what is already shaping up to be a packed festive season.
The currently announced Sankranthi 2027 lineup includes Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s multistarrer with Anil Ravipudi, Sree Vishnu’s film with Ram Abbaraju, Sharwanand’s George Krish directed by Sreenu Vaitla, Sai Durgha Tej’s Sambarala Yeti Gattu, and Prasanth Varma’s Mahakaali.
With several high-profile projects targeting the same window, the competition for screens and audience attention is expected to be intense. With Mega158 now entering the race, Sankranthi 2027 is shaping up to be one of the most crowded festive seasons in recent Telugu cinema.
