Ranabaali is an upcoming Telugu period action drama starring Vijay Deverakonda in the titular role, with Rashmika Mandanna playing Jayamma and Arnold Vosloo portraying Sir Theodore Hector. The film also features an international supporting cast, adding scale to its historical backdrop.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali is written by Pramod Tammineni and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner, in association with T-Series. The film’s music is composed by Ajay–Atul, while Nirav Shah handles the cinematography and Karthika Srinivas takes care of editing.
Ranabaali was initially planned for a September release, with the makers hoping to bring the film to theatres by October at the latest. The team was working towards wrapping up the remaining production activities and locking the release date as per the original schedule.
However, the film’s progress has been affected due to Rashmika’s recent injury. The actress is currently taking rest and will need some more time before she can return to the sets. Her absence has caused changes in the shooting schedule, resulting in a delay in completing the remaining portions of the film.
Considering the current situation, the makers are now looking at November 6 as the new release date for Ranabaali. The team is expected to resume shooting once Rashmika is fully recovered, complete the pending work, and finish the post-production process before bringing the film to audiences.
