The Telugu film industry has witnessed a string of on-set injuries in recent months, raising concerns about the demanding nature of action and dance sequences. Several leading stars, including NTR, Ram Charan, Varun Tej and Nandamuri Balakrishna, Pawan Kalyan have reportedly sustained injuries while filming their upcoming projects.
While most of them have continued after receiving treatment and taking brief breaks, the incidents have highlighted the physical risks that actors face during high-intensity shoots. Adding to this list, actress Rashmika Mandanna has reportedly suffered a hip injury while filming a dance sequence.
According to reports, the injury was serious enough for doctors to recommend six weeks of complete rest, along with a specialized rehabilitation program to support her recovery. The injury is believed to have resulted from the physically demanding choreography and action-oriented schedule she has been following over the past several months.
The recent spate of injuries involving some of Telugu cinema’s biggest stars has once again drawn attention to the importance of safety measures, adequate rest, and proper medical supervision during physically challenging shoots, ensuring that performers can continue delivering their best while minimizing the risk of serious injuries.
