Filmmaker A.L. Vijay, best known for directing Thalaivaa with Thalapathy Vijay, is reportedly shifting gears toward a new full-length feature built around high-octane racing, starring Ajith Kumar at the centre of the action.
Initially conceived as a documentary capturing Ajith’s real-life motorsports pursuits, the project has evolved into a theatrical film that blends actual racing footage with cinematic storytelling. Industry insiders say the makers are eyeing a release around May 1, which coincides with Ajith’s birthday and International Labour Day.
The film is said to draw extensively from Ajith’s personal passion for motorsport, using raw clips from his racing events to amplify its authenticity and adrenaline quotient. While details about supporting cast and plot remain under wraps
