Lal Salaam is the film in which Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth acted in a guest role after a huge blockbuster hit like Jailer. Directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth, this social drama did not click as expected and turned out to be a huge disaster.
Apart from that, there was a lot of uproar about this film. Aishwarya said that the hard drive with the footage was missed, which led to a lot of confusion and the OTT release was also stopped. However, it seems that Lal Salaam is finally ready for OTT release.
The rights of this film have been transferred from Netflix to Sun Next, and it will be available from June 8th or 9th. So a final clarity is yet to come on this. AR Rahman has composed the music for this film.
