Suhas, known for his unique film choices, is back with a refreshing romantic comedy entertainer, Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama. The film introduces Malayalam actress Malavika Manoj (Joe fame) as the female lead in Telugu cinema. Directed by Ram Godhala and produced by Harish Nalla under the V Arts banner, the film is set to be distributed by Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media.
The teaser teaser was unveiled on Monday, promising a fun-filled summer release. The teaser tells a goofy love story of a mild-mannered young man named Rama (Suhas) and a spunky, fearless girl, Satyabhama (Malvika).
How Bhama defies all societal expectations when it comes to courtship and marriage and how Ram deals with the ensuing chaos forms the crux of the story. Babloo Prithiveeraj plays the heroine’s disapproving father. With the hilarious moments and refreshing pair, the teaser promises crazy rom-com for Summer 2025.
Lead actress Malavika Manoj shared her excitement about making her Telugu debut: “I am thrilled to enter the Telugu film industry with such a wonderful project. I believe this film will be well received by the audience.”
Director Ram Godhala expressed his gratitude, saying, “Every filmmaker dreams of seeing their name on the big screen. This dream of mine has come true, thanks to Suhas and producer Harish. From the beginning, we focused on quality, and the result is a beautifully crafted film. Manikandan’s cinematography has given it a vibrant look, and Rathan’s music has added soul to this love story. The six songs in this film are truly mesmerizing.”
Hero Suhas spoke about his initial hesitation in taking up a love story but was convinced by the director’s vision. “I have known Ram for a long time. When he first approached me with a love story, I was skeptical, but he convinced me. The songs are amazing, and the production quality is top-notch. Every scene in this film will feel fresh, and I’m confident that the audience will love it.”
