Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara was initially set to release this Sankranthi but was delayed due to Game Changer. It was then expected to release in the summer, with May 9 being the tentative date. However, recent reports suggest that the film has missed its summer release window.

Makers had plans to release the film on August 22, coinciding with Chiranjeevi’s birthday. The Avatar VFX team in Dubai has completed their work. Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu will review the content in the next few days. If approved, makers will announce the release date otherwise the team will refine it further.

Makers also looking into another date July 25th. The first single will drop soon. This film marks the collaboration between Chiranjeevi and director Vassista of Bimbisara fame, with Trisha playing the lead role. It is produced by UV Creations. A teaser was released earlier with the intention of a Sankranti release, but it received a lukewarm reception due to the visuals not being well-received. This caused expectations for the film to significantly drop.

Team is finalizing the Vishwambhara deals, one by one. The Hindi dubbing rights have been sold for a good price, and the OTT deal is almost complete. With the shooting nearly complete, except for a special item song, the team has some breathing room to refine the VFX during this gap. The item song shoot will be on next month mostly.
