Spirit is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films in Prabhas’ lineup, directed by none other than the sensational Sandeep Reddy Vanga. With a vision said to have international appeal, expectations are sky-high for this pan-Indian spectacle.
The makers are planning to start the shoot very soon. Sandeep Reddy Vanga was looking at bollywood heroines for the female lead role in the film. Amidst all this, industry has been buzzing with rumours about the female lead.
Whispers suggest that the makers initially approached Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone to star opposite Prabhas. However, according to our sources Deepika allegedly put forth a few conditions – including a share in profits as part of her remuneration, a refusal to speak dialogues in Telugu, and a cap on working hours.
Rumour has it that these terms didn’t sit well with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who is known for his intense and uncompromising vision. Prabhas will be pairing with Tripti Dimri (the Bhabhi of Nation), who shot to fame with Animal. She is playing one and only heroine in the film and “She is the calm for his storm.” Backed by Bhushan Kumar, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and Pranay Reddy Vanga under the banners of T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, Spirit will feature music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.
