Icon Star Allu Arjun has reportedly finalised an ambitious release strategy for Raaka, with the big-budget entertainer now set to arrive in two parts. After detailed discussions between director Atlee, Allu Arjun and Sun Pictures, the team is said to have approved the two-part format.

The move is expected to maximise the film’s scale while also addressing its massive production and digital business plans. According to reports, the entire shoot for both instalments will be completed before the end of this year.

Once filming wraps, the makers will officially announce the release roadmap, with plans indicating that both parts could release within a short gap, similar to the strategy adopted for other major franchise films like Dhurandhar.

Sun Pictures is backing the prestigious project, which also stars Deepika Padukone, Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor in key roles. For Allu Arjun, the plan is to complete Raaka before shifting his full focus to his next project with Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Meanwhile, Atlee will dedicate his time to the extensive post-production work and the release planning for both instalments. If everything goes according to schedule, 2027 is expected to belong to Raaka, with the makers preparing for a grand two-part cinematic event.
