Among the recent wave of youthful romantic dramas in Tollywood, the films emerging from director Sai Rajesh and producer SKN’s banner have carved out a distinct identity.

After the blockbuster success of Baby, their latest venture, Chennai Love Story, has also generated considerable attention. Starring Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya in the lead roles, the film has been receiving a mixed response from audiences since its release.

Interestingly, Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya were originally expected to headline the project. However, the Baby pair eventually opted out due to various reasons, paving the way for Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya to take over the lead roles.

The new pairing has earned appreciation from several viewers, with many praising their chemistry and performances despite the film’s divided reception. At the same time, the mixed audience response has sparked discussions on social media.

While some feel Kiran and Sri Gouri Priya made the most of the opportunity, others believe Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya may have avoided a film that has not received unanimous praise.
