Young director Sailesh Kolanu is currently working on his new project, Hit: The Third Case, which marks the third installment in the suspense thriller franchise. The film will star the Natural Star Nani in the lead role.

After the positive reception of the first two films, anticipation for this new installment in the ‘Hit Universe’ has soared. The movie’s key attractions are expected to revolve around police investigations, mysterious elements, and unexpected twists.

Recently, rumors have circulated suggesting that actor Karthi might appear in a significant role towards the end of the film, potentially setting up a connection to the fourth installment. Speculation has even arisen about Karthi playing the lead in Hit 4.

However, director Sailesh Kolanu has expressed his frustration with these media leaks, particularly the rumors, and shared his displeasure via a post on Twitter.

“For every single moment of excitement that is experienced in the cinemas by our audience, there is a story of a huge team working relentlessly for days and nights together, slogging beyond their physical capabilities. All for that moment of impact that we want to create in the auditorium. We take pride in that. It’s sad to see the plight of the media scenario today, some of whom don’t think even for a second before leaking details about the kind of moments that are meant to be enjoyed while watching the movie in the theatres only. While the nature of job to report first is understandable, it boils down to the values and ethics of individual journalist and media houses to assess if it’s right or wrong to report the findings. There are moments in the history where journalists raised above their job description and chose not to report some events just because it’s not correct. I only wish these certain bunch of people had that kind of class. This kind of reporting is not just stealing a film crew’s hard work, it’s equivalent to stealing directly from the audience.”

The post went viral and everyone blaming the person and media house responsible for the leak. Few Netizens and other media houses, questioning that why filmmakers still giving interviews to the people who leaked the vital information.
