Rishab Shetty’s Kantara was one of the biggest sleeper hits of Indian cinema. The film, made on a modest budget of 16 crore, went on to collect around 400 crore worldwide, placing its lead star and director Rishab Shetty on a pan-India map. It is known that Rishab is working on second part.
Despite the fast-paced shooting of the film, there have been numerous rumors circulating about its release. While it was previously confirmed that the film would be released on October 1 on a Pan India scale, some rumors suggested otherwise.
However, the makers have put these speculations to rest by officially confirming that the film will indeed release as scheduled, providing much-needed clarity regarding the highly anticipated prequel. The film will be prequel of Kantara Part-1 & will be taken in Budget of 100+ crores.
Rishab Shetty has done the script writing for Kantara 2 with lot of research & plot is set between 301-400 AD Time frame.
