Hero Vijay Deverakonda said that he will do his best as a star hero in the development of Telugu cinema by acting in films with strong storylines. Vijay Deverakonda participated as a guest in the ‘What India Thinks Today’ program organized by TV9 in Delhi.
He spoke about his success as a hero, the recognition he has gained globally, the sensation that Tollywood is creating in the Pan India trend, and the features of his new movie “Kingdom” in the program.
Hero Vijay Deverakonda said – Getting global recognition as a hero and getting so much love is an indescribable joy. Although there are many talented people, it is an opportunity that only a few get. We may not make successful films every time. But I am lucky to have fans who love me in every situation. The feeling I got after becoming a star was like a relief.
He added, “We have talented directors. I want to work with everyone. Directors Nag Ashwin, Tharun Bhascker, Sandeep Reddy Vanga made their first film with me. Their contribution is huge that I am here today. When SS Rajamouli made Baahubali, it was a big risk. I don’t know what the result would be, but he took the risk. Every industry should go through such a struggle. Only then can it create a trend.
He also thanked NTR for the love on him. The teaser of my new film “Kingdom” got a huge response. Tarak Anna in Telugu, Suriya in Tamil, and Ranbir Kapoor in Hindi made our teaser more effective with their voices. Their voices helped our teaser reach the audience even better. When we discussed about the voiceover, everyone had only Tarak Anna in thier mind. He gave lot of time dubbing and discussing about films with me. The love He showered me was something special.
