National Award-winning actor Chiyaan Vikram’s latest film Veera Dheera Sooran released today, after morning shows cancelled. Veera Dheera Sooran, directed by Arun Kumar, stars SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Dushara Vijayan in pivotal roles. With music by GV Prakash Kumar, the film is backed by Riya Shibu under the HR Pictures banner.
The film opens with a slow but immersive start, pulling us into a rural setting, setting up the stage for an action-packed ride. Director SU Arun Kumar’s craftsmanship shines through, especially in the first half, with his exceptional writing, technical brilliance, and stunning camera work. The movie features a solid buildup for the second half, where the tension and action escalate.
Chiyaan Vikram dominates the screen with his powerful presence, while SJ Suryah’s intriguing role adds a fresh dimension to the story. The film is packed with high-intensity moments and an engaging plot that captivates the audience. The second half takes the stakes higher, featuring non-stop action, unexpected twists, and some thrilling sequences.
While the performances from Vikram, SJ Suryah, Dushara Vijayan, and Suraj are commendable, the background score by GV Prakash adds to the raw energy of the film. However, the second half does slow down in the last 40 minutes, making it feel slightly draggy. Despite this, the flashback and climax offer unexpected twists that keep the suspense alive.
The cinematography by Theni Eswar is top-notch, capturing the essence of the rural world with finesse. The film delivers a solid mix of action and drama, making it a watchable experience for fans of high-octane thrillers. The police station scene, pre climax and climax scenes gets whistles and hoots from the audience.
Veera Dheera Sooran is an action-packed thriller where Vikram makes a spectacular comeback, redefining action with his subtle swag.
