Kamal Haasan’s latest film Thug Life released amid huge expectations. The legendary duo Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam reunited for a film after 38 long years. The duo delivered Masterpiece like Nayagan and Thug Life is a real nightmare for both of them.

Despite heavy promotions in across India, the opened on a poor note outside Tamil Nadu. Thug Life collected only 2 crores share in the Telugu states in first weekend. This is a disastrous and after first day negative talk, no one visited the theatres.

Hero Nithiin’s Sreshth Movies bought the Telugu rights for 18 crores and looks like they will face total losses. The Tamil version fared even worse, marking one of the biggest flops in Kamal Haasan’s career worse than Indian 2. After Vikram, it’s his second consecutive disaster.

Thug Life proved that the audience are not very interested in watching bad films in theatres. The film also stars Silambarasan TR, Trisha Krishnan, Abhirami, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Nasser and others in key roles.
