In a sudden development reported this week, his wife Sangeeta officially filed for divorce in the Chengalpattu Family Court, citing reasons including an alleged long-standing extramarital relationship.
In her petition, she alleged that Vijay has been in an extramarital relationship with an actress since 2021, which she said caused severe mental distress and impacted her personal freedom and financial security.
