Maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli is making a film with superstar Mahesh Babu. The film titled Varanasi shoot progressing at brisk pace. Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran, is playing a key role. Priyanka Chopra is also playing a pivotal role in the film. Recently, a grand launch event was held to showcase the vision, story and scale of the film and it got massive response.
Now, beginning the promotions in a unique way, SS Rajamouli announces the Varanasi release date. Recently, hoardings displaying “April 7, 2027 – In Theatres” without any title have come up in Varanasi, and pictures of the same are now going viral on social media.
These hoardings are being linked to the film, as fans believe the visual theme closely matches the project’s reported concept. Fans are speculating that this could be the film’s release date and are now waiting for an official confirmation from the makers.
Beginning the Varanasi promotions from Varanasi was a unique idea. Being made on a massive budget of around Rs. 1,300 crore, the film also features Madhavan, Prakash Raj, and others in key roles. KL Narayana and SS Karthikeya are producing the project, while MM Keeravaani is composing the music.
Mahesh Babu is seen in a stunning looks. PS Vinod roped in as the cinematographer. SS Rajamouli will direct Mahesh Babu in a globe-trotting forest action-adventure, with the star playing an adventurer.
