Producer Naga Vamsi came with MAD Square recently. The film directed by Kalyan Shankar got mixed response but running successfully in theatres with houseful crowd. The film crossed 70 crores gross in just 4 days and completed breakeven in lot of areas.

Naga Vamsi, who was disappointed with media and websites negative articles on MAD Square success and lack of support responded strongly at a press meet. He has lashed out at the media, alleging that certain websites are trying to downplay the massive success of Mad Square in order to justify their “mixed” reviews.

Naga Vamsi claims that websites and YouTube channels only survive when movies perform well, but they undermine successful films by writing negative reviews and spreading negative propaganda. When collections are strong, they often dismiss it as a fluke and suggest that the film will only succeed because of a sequel.

He said, “Producers and websites must coexist. I don’t have any issues with reviews; it’s their job. However, you don’t need to justify yourselves if a film succeeds despite your reviews. If you’re truly bold, stop banning my movies, stop taking interviews with us, stop writing articles about my films, and stop accepting advertisements from us. I don’t need your support. I know how to promote my movies without you.”

“Prove that the collections are fake if you can! Is this even a bug hero movie? You guys claim it’s a hit because of corporate bookings and houseful claims.” He also pointed out that Indian 2 Thatha didn’t like Swathi Reddy song, and he thinks it could’ve been more impactful. He added that only Adi Dhaa Surprisu, Dabidi Dibidi songs appeal to him.”

Naga Vamsi gave a strong statement at the press meet. He said “If needed, feel free to ban my movies, don’t write reviews, and don’t watch my films.”
