NTRNeel starring the Man of Masses NTR, shoot began recently. The film’s production kicked off on February 20th at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The film is directed by blockbuster filmmaker Prashanth Neel. A special set, designed to resemble Old Kolkata, has been created at Ramoji Film City for the film, and regular shooting is currently underway on this set.
However, in the first schedule, scenes are being filmed without NTR. He is expected to join the sets in the third week of March, with the second schedule kicking off with action scenes featuring him. During the success meet of Return of the Dragon today, the film’s producer, Ravi Shankar, shared insights about the project.
He said, “NTRNeel is a unique script that hasn’t been seen in Indian cinema. The sky’s the limit for this film. We’re extremely confident the film and its range is beyond everyone’s imagination. We have no clue how big it will be at the box office. We are trying to release it on the date we announced.”
He added, “This film has limitless potential. We have immense confidence in NTRNeel and it will be sensational. The Dragon title got more popularity with Pradeep Ranganathan’s film but NTR’s Dragon will be on international level. We are planning to release this heavy action film in international level.” He low key confirmed that NTRNeel title is Dragon.
Rukmini Vasanth will star opposite NTR in this periodical mass action drama, while young Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas will play a key role. The film is slated for release on January 9 next year. Produced by Kalyan Ram Nandamuri, Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili, and Hari Krishna Kosaraju under Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, the film features cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda and music composed by the renowned Ravi Basrur.
