The Malayalam film L2: Empuraan has been a massive success in Kerala and overseas, but is struggling to perform well in other regions. The film starring Lalettan Mohanlal in lead role and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key role released on March 27th.
The movie faced controversy and huge criticism on the political and religious propaganda scenes. Hindu’s trolled the film so bad and involved actors and director. It lead to a re-censorship process.

The revised version is expected to be screened in theatres from Tomorrow. The film’s lead actor, Mohanlal, has issued an apology concerning the political controversy surrounding the film to prevent any impact on its box office performance.
L2: Empuraan, the sequel to Lucifer, is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. The movie had a wide release and opened strong, although it has received a mixed response from audiences.
