The Malayalam film L2: Empuraan has been a massive success in Kerala and overseas, but is struggling to perform well in other regions. The film starring Lalettan Mohanlal in lead role and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key role released on March 27th.

As per the latest update, 2 minutes and 8 seconds of footage have been cut, with 17 edits made in total. The name of the villain has been muted, and the introduction riot sequence has been trimmed.
The revised version is expected to be screened in theatres from Tomorrow. The film’s lead actor, Mohanlal, has issued an apology concerning the political controversy surrounding the film to prevent any impact on its box office performance.
