Game Changer starring Global Star Ram Charan and Kiara Advani. Directed by Shankar, the film was released as a Sankranthi gift in 2025 and became massive flop at the box office. Mega fans had high expectations, especially after the blockbuster success of RRR, but were left disappointed.
Despite the buzz, Shankar presented a storyline that felt outdated, and the film ended up facing a huge financial setback. Reports suggest that Game Changer incurred a loss of around 150 crores, despite being made on a massive budget of 450 crores.
The film faced lot of controversies before it’s release and after the film’s result, with many people from cast and crew expressing thier dissatisfaction with the project. Now the same same continues with renowned Malayalam editor Shameer Muhammed.
Shameer revealed that the initial cut of Game Changer was around seven and a half hours long, which he eventually trimmed down to three hours. However, he stated that he had to step away from the project due to Shankar’s mismanagement, repeated delays, and unnecessary interference.
Shameer expressed his deep dissatisfaction with the way Shankar handled the production process. His comments have now become a hot topic of discussion within film circles. It remains to be seen how Shankar will respond to these allegations.
