The versatile actor Dulquer Salmaan is known for his interesting choice of scripts, which has elevated him to the next level. His filmography has earned him a solid fan base in Telugu and other languages as well. The actor seems like a “Lucky Baskhar” in real life too.
It is well known that he carefully selects the films he signs. By staying away from massive flops like Indian 2, Thug Life, and Parasakthi, he has proved that his judgment is solid. Although he was initially part of these projects, he opted out for different reasons.
Parasakthi, starring Sivakarthikeyan, Sree Leela, Ravi Mohan, and Atharvaa, was released in theatres on January 10. The film, directed by Sudha Kongara, opened to mixed reviews and is likely to end up as a flop. The makers did not release the film in Telugu or Kannada, even though Rana Daggubati and Daali Dhananjaya made cameo appearances.
It appears that Dulquer Salmaan is waiting for a proper film in Tamil, similar to the success he achieved in Telugu.
