Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is ready to clash.with Dhurandhar 2. After the unprecedented buzz around Dhurandhar Part 2, the Toxic team is trying to raise the hype further. Following the blockbuster teaser, news of the Telugu rights acquisition by Dil Raju for huge numbers has gone viral.

Some are calling it a risk, others are calling it luck but it is purely a business tactic. He paid an advance on a commission basis. Depending on the results, everything will change. If the film works, both the producers and Dil Raju will share the collections.

This deal also reflects, Dilraju’s extraordinary confidence in Toxic’s scale, content, and box-office potential. The huge amount for Telugu theatrical rights is possible because of enormous anticipation surrounding Yash’s next release since KGF Chapter 2.

The film, written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas, has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages, underscoring its global ambition.

Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic boasts a powerhouse technical team, including National Award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, music by Ravi Basrur, editing by Ujwal Kulkarni, and grand-scale action sequences choreographed by Hollywood’s JJ Perry alongside Anbariv and Kecha Khamphakdee.

Scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 19 March 2026, coinciding with Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa, Toxic promises a larger-than-life cinematic experience. The film stars Rukmini Vasanth, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Human Qureshi and others in key roles.
