God of the Masses, Nandamuri Balakrishna, and blockbuster director Boyapati Sreenu have collaborated for the fourth time on the highly anticipated Akhanda 2: Thandavam. This sequel to their previous hit Akhanda will take the action and intensity to the next level. Produced by Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the banner 14 Reels Plus, the film is presented by M. Tejaswini Nandamuri.
The shooting of Akhanda 2: Thandavam is progressing at a rapid pace. Currently, director Boyapati Sreenu is scouting and doing recce in majestic Himalayas for shooting some extraordinary scenes, which are set to be one of the main highlights of the film. Samyuktha Menon will play the female lead in this high-budget sequel, which is being made on a grand scale. Aadhi Pinisetty is playing key role in the film.
The music for the film is composed by the sensational S. Thaman, while experienced technicians such as cinematographer C. Ramprasad, editor Tammiraju, and art director A.S. Prakash are working on the project. Akhanda 2 is slated for a grand release across India and will hit theaters on September 25, 2025, during the Dussehra festival.
