Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s action thriller and emotionally charged film Arjun Son of Vyjayanthi, directed by Pradeep Chilukuri, features Vijayashanthi in a power-packed role as an IPS officer. Ashok Vardhan Muppa and Sunil Balusu producing the film, under the banners of Ashoka Creations and NTR Arts.
The film released yesterday in theatres and received mixed talk. The routine action drama failed to impress everyone but the climax action sequence and a crazy sacrifice of a son for her mother was a major highlight in the film.
The film collected 5.5 crores gross at the box office on opening day. This is a good opening considering the mixed talk from audience. Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi features Saiee Manjrekar in the female lead role, while Sohail Khan plays the antagonist.
The music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath. The editing is in the capable hands of Thammiraju, and the screenplay is penned by Srikanth Vissa.
