The highly anticipated Indian Cinema’s Industry hit Pushpa: The Rule has been a massive success. Directed by renowned filmmaker Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Sukumar Writings, the film stars Icon Star Allu Arjun in the lead role. Producers Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar bankrolled it under Mythri Movie Makers banner.
Released on December 5, the film has achieved massive success and record-breaking box office collections. But, due to the stampede at premieres and Allu Arjun’s arrest, the team couldn’t celebrate the victory immediately. To celebrate the film’s success, a Thanks Meet was held in Hyderabad on Saturday. During the event, the film’s team, including actors and technical crew, was honoured with shields.
At the event, Allu Arjun credited the whole success to director Sukumar, stating, “I can never thank Sukumar enough. Directors are the ones who create hits, and for this film, everyone should thank Sukumar. He always credits the team for success, but he himself is the reason behind it. My performance has received a lot of appreciation, and the credit goes to Sukumar. I am his biggest fan—I get excited whenever he narrates a scene. He is a genius director.”Making a promise to his army and fans, he said, “I dedicate this success to my army and fans. Ala Vaikunthapuramloo, Pushpa, and Pushpa 2 were good steps; from now on, I’ll continue to make you all mad proud for sure. As for Pushpa 3, I don’t know what’s in store, but it will be something extraordinary.” Rashmika Mandanna played the female lead, while Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad composed the music.
Director Sukumar credited Mythri Movie Makers for the success, saying,“It was Cherry’s suggestion that led to Pushpa being made in two parts. His advice played a key role in this success. My name is not just Sukumar; it is Sukumar Devi Sri Prasad. I cannot make films without Devi, and I never will. Allu Arjun gives me immense energy—he is the one person in this world who sees me as something extraordinary. He believed in me even when I didn’t have a proper story. This entire success belongs to Allu Arjun.”
